Swing Coach

Perform For Golf is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Golf Swing Coach to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a coach who is passionate about player development, swing mechanics, and helping golfers of all levels reach their performance potential.
The Golf Swing Coach will work directly with clients in one-on-one and small group settings, conducting swing assessments, building individualized development plans, and collaborating with golf and fitness professionals to optimize both swing performance and overall athletic ability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Golf Instruction & Player Development
Deliver individualized golf swing coaching sessions focused on mechanics, ball flight, consistency, and shot control
Create and guide clients through structured swing development plans that improve technique, confidence, and on-course performance
Progress and adjust coaching strategies based on client performance, goals, and assessment results.
Assessment & Performance Planning
Conduct comprehensive swing evaluations using video analysis and launch monitor data
Identify swing faults, movement limitations, and opportunities for technical improvement
Translate assessment findings into clear, actionable coaching strategies
Collaboration & Performance Integration
Work closely with Golf Fitness Trainers and Recovery Specialists to support clients’ development before, during, and after training
Apply an understanding of the relationship between physical ability and golf swing mechanics to enhance performance outcomes
Maintain open communication across departments to ensure aligned coaching strategies
Client Experience & Management
Provide a premium client experience by being proactive, attentive, and detail-oriented
Build long-term client relationships by anticipating needs and delivering consistent education, motivation, and accountability
Manage client scheduling, lesson frequency, and ongoing engagement
Reporting, Communication & Operations
Track client progress and provide consistent weekly performance updates to the Head Golf Coach
Complete required administrative duties including session notes, lesson plans, and internal communication
Support daily facility operations to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional golf coaching experience
PGA, USGTF, TPI, or comparable golf instruction certification preferred
Experience coaching golfers in one-on-one and/or small group settings
Strong understanding of swing mechanics, ball-flight laws, and player development
Sales or client-facing experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
Comfortable using video analysis, launch monitors, and scheduling or performance software
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to demonstrate golf swings, drills, and movement patterns throughout sessions
Regular standing, walking, and physical activity in a golf training environment
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception
Moderate noise level typical of a training and hitting-bay facility
