At Perform for Golf we strive to empower golfers to go beyond their limits, enabling them to hit farther, play  longer, and achieve new heights of performance. We have locations in the San Francisco Marina District, San Mateo, and in the East Bay.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Currently has a degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field

  • Passionate about golf and golf fitness

  • Knowledge of multiple assessment protocols

  • P4G Coaches will refer to methods used in TPI, and other pertinent assessment protocols in order to thoroughly assess client alignment and movement

  • Must be able to assess independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service centered

  • People-oriented and detail-oriented

  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment  

  • Preferred CSCS (Eligible for reimbursement after 3 months within P4G)

  • Availability to work split shifts and one weekend day (Sat or Sun)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing science-based exercise programs

  • Coaching 1:1 personal training sessions

  • Create planned progressions that create specific adaptations based on the client/athletes goals/needs

  • Knowledge of the golf swing

  • Must be able to display flexibility within the program and re-assess as needed

  • Maintain, manage, and grow clientele

  • Included but not limited to: keeping track of sessions serviced, client logs, updates on client programs, and more

  • Additionally, all P4G coaches should pursue continued education on a quarterly basis

  • Consistent scheduling of client sessions

  • Maintain and retain clients measured by monthly renewals

  • Constantly seeks opportunities to grow clientele

  • Responsible for acquiring client reviews

  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of space, following AM/PM opening/closing procedures and performing housekeeping tasks

  • Doing assigned quarterly education assignments

  • Being a brand ambassador for P4G, its culture, and values

  • Assisting with Facilities Maintenance 

Nice to Haves:

  • A specific niche/knowledge base as it relates to the health and fitness industry (injury prevention, sports performance, etc.)

  • Understanding of Google Suite and social media

  • Writing skills will be especially helpful in crafting our brand
